Here, Meadows Publishing Solutions presents our DesignMerge software via video demonstrations.

DesignMerge Pro is a very powerful and sophisticated variable data printing (VDP) and data publishing software package that works directly within the QuarkXPress® or Adobe® InDesign® applications. The idea behind DesignMerge is very simple - just take any normal QuarkXPress or InDesign document, and “Make it Variable™”.

You can use DesignMerge to personalize virtually every aspect of a document, including Variable Text, Graphics, Articles, and even entire Layouts. DesignMerge also includes a number of advanced VDP features, such as automatic copyfitting, conditional logic programming, bar coding, and multi-up layout support.

Output Formats

DesignMerge Pro provides built-in support for all of the most popular VDP output formats, including PostScript, PPML, and Creo VPS. The software also supports optional, specialty print drivers for systems such as Xerox VIPP, and legacy systems such as Xeikon Book Ticket format.

DesignMerge output has been tested with systems from all of the major companies in the VDP market, including those shown above. Beyond the VDP output formats, DesignMerge output can also be used to create personalized PDF files, and multi-page QuarkXPress or InDesign documents.

The sample video discusses a few of the features of the DesignMerge PPML driver, which includes our exclusive VDP Optimizer technology to ensure the fastest possible performance on all systems.
