Retaliation Breakdown
Retaliation, by Scott Coates and Tom Rice is a cinematic recreation of Bath in Somerset during its blitz in 1942. The film showcases several environments that were created using relit matte paintings and houdini pyro fx. Our production philosophy was centred around using as many photographic elements as possible, avoiding the unnecessary use of fully cg assets where we could. With this, we attempted to emulate what it may have felt like to be a victim of the tragedy at the time.
