Leg Lock Bridge

Purpose: Active hip extension of the contracting leg, and passive flexion mobility of the other leg in relation to abdominal and core stability.

Description: Lie on your back with one leg flexed at the hip, and the knee held to the chest. The other foot is placed on the ground with bent knee. Legs are close together in tightrope position. Push down with the foot on the floor to lift hips up into a bridge. The thigh at the chest must remain in the same position (do not let it come away from the chest). The height of the bridge should be limited to where the thigh on the chest stats to move out of the starting position. Repeat 6-10x.
