Packing Tape #2, Gesture, is a 30'x12'H wall installation using carved clear packing tape to explore the confluence of reflectivity and absence. Drawn from aerial photos of rivers and roadways, packing tape is used to create pathways of reflection from incidental ambient light sources within the gallery and outside of its walls of windows facing Barclay and West Broadway at the Shirley Fiterman Art Center in Lower Manhattan.
