The City and County of Honolulu is creating a mass transit system for the island of Oahu. A wide range of options for improving travel are being evaluated against many criteria. During this assessment the client wished to communicate the visual impact of both transit alternatives that were being considered for Nimitz Station. Parsons Brinckerhoff needed a communication solution to illustrate the scope, scale, and vision of the project.

Parsons Brinckerhoff simulated managed lane and fixed guide way alternatives and modeled a 3D representation of Nimitz station to produce a 3 minute animated video that gave the audience a first person view of the proposed station design.
