Cherokee
Cherokee is a stylised virtual reality animation that explores a flashback between a mother and daughters past relationship that has been torn apart by a wildfire. The narrative follows the main character, Cherokee, named after the Native American tribe of the same namesake. Our character and her mother, the last survivors of the tribe have escaped from the fire. The animation follows Cherokee in the present as she walks through the same forest being guided by the spirit of her mother. My intended target audience would be for younger viewers with access to a VR headset. The camera guides the audience as an observer that follows the characters around the environment.
