Invisible Invasion
Stratford in London is undergoing drastic changes. The Olympic legacy combined with a housing and cost of living crisis is stimulating investment and developments that are irrevocably changing the commercial and residential make up of the area. Some of these changes are perceived to be improvements on what was once a neglected and impoverished area of London. Some local residents are seeing the negative impacts of this invisible invasion, is the change gentrification or social cleansing?
