The address of this beachside villa says it all "One Peter Bay " aspiring to build a family home for entertaining friends and loved ones, the theme of this unique home on the beach is the ability for people to spill out of the central area to be together, or retreat to the private porches to be alone. The owners together with architect Doug White inspired to build a low impact home with high-impact style. The architect site plan for the 7370 ft.² property began by recognizing the need to reduce energy consumption. Harnessing solar energy and the natural ventilation provided by cooling Tradewinds, a hurricane resistant U-shaped structure was created. The sites natural elevation, combined with a series of terraces stepping down to the beach, afforded immediate protection from any storm surge while maintaining the visual connection to the breathtaking view of this unique palm paradise.
