Dr. Deanna Oye
Dr. Deanna Oye, Faculty of Fine Arts - Music, shares her passion for teaching and creating community for her students within the University and beyond. She has developed the idea of a ‘studio family’, in which senior students act as mentors for newcomers, creating a peer support network for everyone. Deanna also talks about teaching music online and the difficulties she and her students experienced, but then overcame.
