Michael Stagliola, PSEG on Optimizing Performance for a Large Fossil Fleet through Execution of a Comprehensive Operational Exce

Michael Stagiola, Director, Combined-Cycle Maintenance & Outages at PSEG and a speaker at the marcus evans Power Plant Management & Generation Summit discussed how the Operational Excellence Model has taken PSEG Fossil to the next level of performance. The Operational Excellence Model is a tool PSEG Fossil leadership adopted that allows us to externally benchmark our performance against the best in the industry, measure the gap, develop business strategies and execute plans via systematic processes, monitor and control the results, and then maintain a cycle of continuous improvement. It is designed to accommodate a large fleet of power plants over a broad geographical area. PSEG Fossil owns and operates 11 power generating facilities and manages three service businesses, in an area that spans three Northeast states and Texas. Its diverse electric generation portfolio is comprised of combined cycle gas, peaking generation, coal-fired units and oil-fired steam plants.

Join the next Summit along with top industry enterprise, energy, and power generation solution providers and consultants in an intimate environment for a focused discussion on the key drivers shaping the power industry.
