The 2019 Association of Club Catering Professionals National Conference in the gorgeous Rocky Mountains at The Broadmoor Resort in Colorado was a smashing success! We want to thank each and every one of our amazing Members and attendees for inspiring us each and every day to produce a conference that will inspire and thrill you in return.

We appreciate and are so very grateful for your engagement at the conference. A very heart-felt thank you!! For those of you who were unable to attend, we really missed you!

This one was truly special - from the Rocky Mountain Welcome Party at Cheyenne Lodge with Tomahawk throwing overlooking the gorgeous views, to the inspiring and tear-jerking dinner at the US Olympic Training Center where our attendees were treated to stories by the athletes of their journey to make it to the Olympics, a performance by the Men's US Olympic Gymnastics Team (WOW!) and finally, an emotional, final surprise when we all got to pass the Olympic torch while the Olympic Anthem blared, from one attendee to the next until every single one had passed it all the way up to light the giant Olympic Cauldron! It was quite a moment! 6 attendees were honored with a special part of the ceremony. Sarah Picha from San Diego Yacht Club won a raffle during the day (she didn’t know what she won until the very moment this happened) and got to carry the torch in to the Olympic Anthem. Goosebumps! Amy Snyder from San Diego Yacht Club and Zafer Goncu from Country Club of Louisiana have attended every single ACCP Conference and Heather Scott from The Commonwealth Club and Helen Engelhardt from Sharon Heights Golf & Country Club have only missed one conference. The last person honored was Michele Moran, our Platinum Sponsor from Hoffmaster because it was her birthday! When the torch got to the top of the stairway, these 5 carried it up the final staircase and lit the giant cauldron! It was a breathtaking, once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Our speakers this year were total rock stars and provided incredible education and interactive workshops. Our closing session culminated with the much-anticipated announcement of the 2020 National Conference location... (drumroll...) The Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica, CA! We will also spend one day in downtown Los Angeles at the amazing Jonathan Club for our meetings! We are thrilled with this gorgeous location with views of the Pacific Ocean! Remember to “Save the Date” of August 30 – September 1, 2020 and come get some sand in between your toes and drink in the Pacific Ocean breezes!
