Purple Spring Gala 2022 - Alzheimer's Association Southern California at Neue House Hollywood
Radio host Lisa K. Foxx and committee member Eric Poness appeared on the KTLA Weekend Morning News to share their inspiration for supporting the Alzheimer’s Association’s upcoming Purple Spring Gala.
The event takes place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Neue House Hollywood and is hosted by the organization’s Southern California chapter.
Comedian Wayne Brady will emcee, actress Yvette Nicole Brown will receive the Championship Award and KTLA reporter/anchor Lynette Romero will be honored and speak about her mother’s struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.

The Alzheimer’s Association California Southland Chapter provides free educational programs, support services and care consultations across the Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Kern, Tulare, Kings and Inyo counties while also supporting critical research towards a cure.

Anonymous Donor Chooses Maddilicious Catering to Feed 90 Veterans at March Air Reserve Base
An anonymous donor with a big heart for our veterans arranged for senior residents at he March Air Reserve Base Barracks to receive their first hot meal in over a month.
Suzanne Armas volunteers her time to cook for and feed these veterans every fourth Sunday but has unable to do so under the current stay at home order.
Maddilicious Catering is a local business that is currently providing a home cooked meal service for residents and also has a big appreciation for veterans.
The Salvation Army Riverside Corps provided and delivered hygiene kits.

Gudly, Convoy of Hope, Addis Ababa and Gavi Feldman ~ Making the World a Better Place
On December 5, 2014, Güdly people embarked on a wonderfully fulfilling trip to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. A few months prior, in partnership with Convoy of Hope, Gudly sponsored a group of 75 impoverished women as they sought to improve their lives and the lives of their families.
Each woman selected for the program was taught basic business and financial skills, and provided with training and start-up funds to launch their new lives.
