What is a Modular Chiller?

A modular chiller is a smaller packaged chiller that can be combined with other modules to make one larger machine. For a chiller to be a modular chiller, it must have the following components:

- One or two independent refrigerant circuits
- Modules connected in parallel on a common pre-engineered header and electrical system
- Modules are coupled together to form a single chiller system
- Master controller oversees operation of all connected modules
