Nanine Passion is a film about the young, ambitions and incredibly successful choreographer Nanine Linning (1977).
Linning represents a new movement of artists: the artists exploding with passion, whom effortlessly combine ambition and commercial interest.
The film captures her during the glory days of her success in Osnabrück and her first performance of ‘Requiem’ in Heidelberg. The film showcases her unlimited passion for music, theatre, opera and of course dance. We witness how she remains standing in the German theatre system, and how she pushes these theatres to great achievements. However, there is a downside to great success.
