Viking Village's 'Fish for Tomorrow'-Cooperative Research
Commercial fishermen and research scientist cooperatively working together to ensure sustainable fisheries. 'The Miracle at Sea' is an example of the come back of the scallop industry. Scientists discuss the steps taken to increase the yield of the scallop beds. This 5 minute trailer had been recently presented to the Jersey Shore Partnership Forum at Monmouth University. Executive Director Ernie Panacek of Viking Village has been very proactive in taking strides to promote fish for the future.
