The WestEd Board of Directors occasionally hosts symposia to explore enduring challenges confronting our education and human development communities. Each event focuses on research, policy, and practice components of the topic examined; explores interdisciplinary, collaborative, and actionable solutions; and provides opportunities to interact with a wide range of expert participants from multiple backgrounds, offering a wide variety of perspectives.

The below videos are from the WestEd Board of Directors’ 2010 forum, Innovation Through Improvement Networks: Transforming Education Practice in Community College Mathematics. Participants spent the day exploring new ways of conducting education research and development pioneered by The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.

Please note: As some Forum speakers are not employees of WestEd, the views expressed in their presentations do not necessarily represent the views of WestEd.
