CVRPC Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission

The mission of the Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission (CVRPC) is to assist member municipalities in providing effective local government and to work cooperatively with them to address regional issues. The CVRPC works with area non-profits, other regional organizations, State and Federal agencies, and the general public. The CVRPC implements a variety of projects and programs tailored to local and regional needs, and also completes projects of statewide importance and interest.

The member Vermont communities served by the Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission include: Barre City, Barre Town, Berlin, Cabot, Calais, Duxbury, East Montpelier, Fayston, Marshfield, Middlesex, Montpelier, Moretown, Northfield, Orange, Plainfield, Roxbury, Waitsfield, Warren, Washington, Waterbury, Williamstown, Woodbury, Worcester

The March 10, 2015 meeting of the Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission included: • Report by Central Vermont Economic Development • Nominating Committee Report • Fayston Town Plan -- public hearing for approval of their 2014 Municipal Plan and confirmation of their planning process • Final review and acceptance of the Environment and Natural Resources Element of the Regional Plan • Efficiency Vermont Community Forum Outreach - Update by Kelly Lucci • State Wetlands Permitting -- Shannon Morrison, District Wetlands Ecologist, VT Department of Environmental Conservation
