Margaret Dolinsky : Sweeping the Forest, c. 2021
"'Sweeping the Forest' is a testimony to a glitch in nature. It begins after an odd snowstorm. The wind intertwines a maple tree and a twenty-five foot arm fell to the ground creating trunk pockets to hold the snow. It was a day suffering from the mad stillness caused by pandemic self-quarantine and computer tunnel vision. 'Sweeping the Forest' is an artistic translation of the wind capturing its arboreal relationship with the world, time, and space."
