Pouch FaraFeeding System
The FaraFeeder receives pouches from an upstream conveyor and the rotating paddlewheel spreads them out for the Pick and Place Robot. ABB Pickmaster vision identifies the location and orientation of the pouches as they pass through the lighting and camera areas, and then tracks them as they move within reach of the robots. Utilizing vacuum end effectors, the robots pick pouches and place them directly onto the outfeed conveyor. Products that are not facing upwards are placed onto a flipper assembly where they are reoriented, then picked and placed onto the outfeed conveyor.
