Finding My Inner Balance

Through the formation offered in workshops like the ones you are about to watch, and regular moments of inspiration for individuals or groups for youth, couples, and mothers the Schoenstatt Movement, as a lay and Apostolic Marian Movement serves at the heart of the Catholic Church.

The Apostolic Movement of Schoenstatt, based on a covenant spirituality, a more recent development of devotion to Mary, brings a different approach to the idea of devotion. Above and beyond the scope of prayers, songs, and liturgical practices, the members of the Schoenstatt Movement take their bearings from the message of Father Joseph Kentenich (1885-1968), its founder, who trusting in Divine Providence lived out of a deep, personal relationship with Mary, which as he said, “formed him to down to his subconscious.” Are we not in need of forming men and women down to the subconscious into living images of Christ? Since no one loved our Lord the way she did, we make a covenant of love with Mary, and thus safeguard our relationship to Christ and our obedience to God’s will.
