Thinkers Series: Yona Rosenfeld

The artists began their residencies in Israel with an exploratory mission, in which they traveled throughout Israel and the West Bank and met with a variety of thinkers. 'This Place' initiator Frederic Brenner later filmed interviews with many of these thinkers. Here are some highlights from this interview series.

A psychoanalyst and social worker, Yona Rosenfeld was the director of the Hebrew University School of Social Work and a Professor Emeritus at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In 1998, he received the prestigious Israeli prize for social work. He now chairs the Forum for the Eradication of Poverty.
