'The Maitreya Bodhisattva: The Master of the Ninefold Path of the Beatitudes'
“In the Maitreya Buddha, we have been given the greatest teacher who has
appeared to make clear to human beings the Christ Event in its full scope.”
Rudolf Steiner, Esoteric Christianity and the Spiritual Guidance of Humanity
What is the relationship of the Maitreya to my inner life?
How do I find the Good through my speaking?
In contrast to the teaching of morality that is the Eightfold Path of the Gautama Buddha, the Beatitudes are the Ninefold Path of acquiring morality. The Maitreya Bodhisattva, the first Christian Master of Providence to appear on the earth, has the task of bringing this ninefold inner path to life within humanity over the next 2400 years.
The Maitreya Bodhisattva is known as The Bringer of the Good through the Word. This evening we will explore the being of the Maitreya, his role in the appearance of the Etheric Christ within human souls, and his leadership on the inner path of the Beatitudes. This study will prepare us for subsequent evenings on the 7th, 8th, and 9th Beatitudes.
Edward Schuldt began to work intensively with the Beatitudes in 2011. That work has centered on exploring the Beatitudes as they express the mysteries of the human constitution and relate to the evils dwelling in the sub-earth. Edward has been active in spiritual science since 1975, first during his time at the University of Chicago and then during his years in Camphill, the Waldorf Movement, and beyond. He is a member of the Anthroposophical Society, the First Class, the Camphill Community, and the Christian Community.
