I always say that moviemaking is child's play for me.
When i was young, i wanted to be a martial art master, but i was moved by movies such as The Exorcist, Star Wars, The Shining, Rocky and Alien. But when Akira Kurosawa's "Seven Samurai" rocked my world, i decided to become a filmmaker. I started on the commercial business... Commercial directors have to move quick, they work with clients and agencies, they're involved in the profitability of the commercial and don't want their budgets to go over. It was the best school for me. I have directed a few hundred of commercials over the last 25 years. I won the Grand prize of the artistic directors club in 1997, two bronze LIONS at the Cannes Films festival in 1997 and 2006, the Marcus of the public in 2003 at the SATCAR films festival, two LYNX (Gold and Silver) in 2009 at the Dubai Films Festival and a Bronze Cristal at the Cristal festival in 2016. I have directed 5 feature films included Yamakasi, Sons of the wind, Scorpion, Night Fare (Best film at the Denver’s MILE HORROR films festival) and Anderson Falls my first American Movie produced by Title Media, Lone Suspect and Koji productions. 4 TV movies, a 90 minutes documentary about 4 french MMA fighters produced by Elephant Doc and Canal + , and written a few scripts. I also produced two of my movies with my company, DAIGORO FILMS and a few awarded short films.
