In its Charter, Auroville was envisioned as a place of “Unending education, constant progress and a youth that never ages”. “Free Progress” is a term Mother used to describe what she wished to see expressed. She spoke of it as: “A progress guided by the soul and not subjected to habits, conventions or preconceived ideas”.
In its numerous experiments in learning and teaching, to what extent has Auroville been able to bring these great founding ideas to life and action? Jean-Yves and Deepti will speak of their experiments and experiences working with Auroville teenagers in Last School.
