Jon Menick, President and CEO of Ugo Tour, introduces Ugo Tour NC Mountains. Named the Official App of NC Smokies Mountain Region and sponsored by NCDOT, NC Scenic Byway, Blue Ridge National Heritage Area, Smoky Mountain Host and Storypoint Media.

Menick was a professional actor in Atlanta, New York and L.A. for 26 years. In the mid-80’s, he was acknowledged as one of the most recognizable commercial talents by Ad Age Magazine. Some of his most notable campaigns were, Herb for BURGER KING, the “Same Old Same Old” man for ARBY’S, Louie the Lip for R.C COLA, the comic spokesman for MAZDA, ATT, NYNEX, IBM, DIMETAPP and SUBARU to name just a few.

Though he appeared in numerous Network Television shows and feature films, his first love was the T.V commercial advertisement. Combining his interest in ad writing and film production, with his B.A in political history from the University of Georgia, he ventured into the world of media concepts in 2001. And now with the help of our sponsors, Ugo Tour is made up of a team of creative professionals, dedicated to preserving North Carolina's Mountain Heritage.
