Potato Cup

With the improvements generated by the joint effort of the City of Pocatello and the Ski Foundation ( ), the POTATO CUP actually occurred twice in 2014 with the first race (a pursuit format) being treated to special appearances by 2010 Olympic Nordic-combined Gold Medalist, Billy Demong and Olympian (cancer-survivor), Bryan Fletcher. The second race managed to happen by miracle alone as the "pineapple express" took its toll on the Nordic Center's snow-base. Thanks to the persistent faith of Randy Anderson to keep the race "on", skiers experienced nothing short of divine intervention which brought an unlikely cold air mass over Mink Creek Ski Area, turning the torrential rain into snow.
The first video is a 91 second taste of the final (normal) event to this season (so we guess). Video 2 contains some clips of race participants and the final video is the first race held on New Year's Day.
