Waterbury honors community activist Yliana Miller as honorary "Ecuadorian Mayor for the Day".
Yliana Miller is currently the Store Manager for Wells Fargo Bank in Shelton, CT, where she works with clients to help them reach their financial needs and goals. She focuses on finding solutions that can help make those financial goals a reality. Over the last five years with Wells Fargo, Yliana has held positions as Personal Banker, Business Specialist, and was promoted to Store Manager two years ago.
Yliana is also very involved with the local community in Fairfield and New Haven Counties through various non-profit organizations. Over the last four years, thanks to Wells Fargo’s outreach programs, Yliana has been able to help the local communities with sponsorships and volunteer workshops. These workshops focus on Financial Education on topics like Improving your Credit, How to buy a house, Applying for a loan, saving for retirement, and funding your Children’s College Education. .
She has been a collaborator in Latin Pageants, Mobile Embassy Programs, and Food drives for the poor, and many other programs helping the local community.
Yliana’s goal is to educate, support, and help the citizens in our community achieve Financial Independence. As a proud Latino woman, she is a great example of what true leaders in our community are all about!!!
Yliana lives with her husband Charlie and her two daughters, Ashley and Stefany, who are currently attending college in Connecticut.
