These three spots for the National Association of Government Employees ran this summer and fall to highlight Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker's mismanagement of the Holyoke Soldiers home, which resulted in the death of 76 elderly veterans. To date, no one has been held accountable for this needless loss of life. No one.
At his December 1st announcement that he would not seek reelection, Governor Baker said he did not want to face the "distractions" a political campaign would bring. Perhaps one of the 'distractions' he fears is the inevitable accountability that would come from a full airing of what happened at the Soldiers Home.
The ad campaign team consisted of The New Media Firm and Crawford Strategies. We’d like to thank NAGE for their courage and forethought in running this campaign.
