Re-imagining a Democratic Europe

Reimagining a Europe that is actually democratic? Central to needed radical imaginaries of the contemporary left(s), are issues of democratisation - across all spheres of life. Present circumstances and contexts call for a deep reimagining of what an actual, genuinely radical and participatory, democratic UK and Europe might look like; how they might relate to other societies, states and multi/supra/transnational bodies such as the UN, NATO and the IMF operating within an increasingly globalised neoliberalism; and how this might be achieved, working from an acknowledgement of our present realities and possibilities.
