Acts of the Apostles

The books of Luke and Acts were both written by Luke, the physician. They are considered to be transitional books connecting the Old Testament to the New Testament. The heart of the message is Acts 2:36, which declares unequivocally that Jesus is "Lord and Christ." This truth unlocks the Old Testament prophecies about the Messiah (i.e., Christ). These prophecies contained the good news of the work of Jesus and all its implications. Luke's gospel recorded the life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. The book of Acts recorded the implications of Jesus' work to redeem fallen mankind. This portfolio contains teachings on the book Acts.
