Inside SCSO: May 2016

This Month in Inside SCO, we have video of the 2016 Fallen Officer Ceremonies in St. Charles Parish and in New Orleans, a story of a young man with a cognitive disability who found a new friend with help from Sheriff's Deputies, as well as Sheriff Champagne's request for help to find the killers of two St. Charles Parish residents.
We also discuss the Sheriff's Office's Home Inspection Program, and how residents can get advice on how to eliminate potential hazards in their homes.

Inside SCSO: May 2016

In the May 2016 Edition of Inside SCSO, St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg Champagne discusses the Sheriff's Office's long-time programs to develop trust between deputies and young people, and a new leadership and ethics program for Sheriff's Office personnel. He also discusses his election as president of the National Sheriff's Association.
Other topics include requests for information about the murders of resident Sidney A. Holmes on Nov. 9, 2015, and St. Rose resident Ramal Ellis in 2013.
There's also a segment on the Sheriff's Office's home inspection program, where parish residents can get a free home inspection by deputies for home hazards and security issues.
And finally, a heart-warming story about how St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Deputies brought a canine friend from the Animal Shelter into the home of a teen-ager with autism and a penchant for wandering.
