## Movement Preparation: Out 5 Jump 3

• This activity combines “In-In, Out-Out” in a single square (no forward motion) with a jump

• Start by straddling the first square, both feet outside the ladder

• Jump both feet into the first square

• Jump both feet outside the first square again (“Out”)

• Repeat 2 more times at the first square (i.e. 3 “Outs” total)

• Jump forward to straddle the third square (i.e. “Jump 2” squares)

• Repeat pattern for the length of the ladder

PROGRESSION: Increase speed and number of “outs” and “jumps” (Level 2 = Out 3, Jump 2; Level 3 = Out 5, Jump 3).
