Movement Preparation: Twisties Two

• Coach should demonstrate this activity

• Stand sideways at start line

• Jump vertically and turn 180°

• Then jump and turn 180° again, returning to start position

• Accelerate forward to halfway, then decelerate remaining distance

• Look for soft landings on jumps—hips and knees should flex

• Add one additional 180° turn for Twisties “Three”

• Always perform Twisties “Three” with Twisties “Two” to practice pushing off both legs and maintain symmetry
