Isabell Scarinci, a doctor and a member of the Rotary Club of Birmingham, Alabama, USA, is one of Rotary’s six People of Action: Champions of Health 2021 awardees. Scarinci initiated a project between her club and the Rotary Club of Columbo, Sri Lanka, to eliminate cervical cancer as a public health issue for women in Sri Lanka through screening and vaccination.
