Planting Agroforestry EN

Members of the Rotary Club of Maceió-Farol, Brazil (D4391), work with farmers on the Planting Agroforestry project. Initiated by members of the club, the project combines sustainable planting practices and organic farming methods to encourage soil sustainability and increase agricultural yields. With these improvements, farmers now have small surplus crops which they sell at local markets and fairs. Alagoas, Brazil.
