  3. Raja Ampat, A Study In Contrast - a Film by Ron Lagerlof

Shot entirely on the new RED Scarlet-W Monochrome camera in Raja Ampat, Indonesia, over a 10 day period in March 2016. Many images from this region typically show the abundant flourishes of color, soft corals, tropical fishes, etc. The black and white imagery shows the detail in reef structure and accentuates the dramatic patterns in such subjects as manta rays, barracuda, and even the fans and crinoids. Original acquisition is 5K, 2:1 aspect ratio, 8:1 Redcode. Shot with Zeiss T* 15mm/2.8 lens and Gates Deep Dragon/Weapon housing. All rights reserved, Ron Lagerlof, Lauadibob Productions, 2016
