  1. Rise and Shine Toastmasters

    Toastmasters is an international organization dedicated to the education and skill of public speaking and leadership in its members. This was a short film project created by the students of the Film Industry Training and Skills program delivered through Beacon Community Services.

  2. The S.T.A.R.T.E. Program

    The S.T.A.R.T.E. Program is a 6 week employment course through Beacon Community Services that provides customized training in the film industry along with resume and career development support. This is the final short 'bio-doc' project - written, shot and edited by the students.

    Women's heart health is a vastly misunderstood illness, as Carolyn Thomas describes in this short documentary. The project was written, shot and edited by students of the Film Industry Training and Skills course offered by Beacon Community Services Employment Programs.

    A short film about MediaNet - an artist-run film cooperative in Victoria, BC - created by students in the Film Industry Training and Skills program delivered through Beacon Community Services.
