Chimera 2014, sketch 1, with Robert Appleton and Adrian Moore

I improvise digital imagery in 2014 Toronto with an excerpt from Adrian Moore's Sieve composed at the BBC Radiophonic Workshop in the summer of 1994. We first met in Sheffield in 2010 and this work has bubbled up from our conversations since then.

Chimera in Biology is an organism containing genetically different tissues. In Greek Mythology it is a fire-breathing female monster with a lion’s body, a goat’s head and a serpent’s tail. The collaborative performance works Chimera are a mashup of resonant memory and tele-presence ‘spoken’ across time and space.
