Sailing Angels

The Sailing Angels Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, comprised of all volunteers, based in the Greater Houston/Galveston area. We offer Recreational therapy, Respite, and Education on our 40 large sailing & motor yachts, up to 360 days per year. Our joyful service is provided FREE to the entire community with special needs: including children and adults of all ages with cognitive, physical or emotional needs, or chronic illnesses, and those who are hurting or at-risk socially . Also invited are the military (Veterans or Active) and first responders. Families or loved-ones of all participants are invited as well.

The special participants are encouraged to work to the best of their abilities. Our hope is that they can find hope and healing. Results of this unique ‘hydro-therapy’ nautical adventure can be seen on their happy faces! This is frequently a positive life-changing experience for them and their families/loved-ones … as well as those of us (~130 volunteers) who feel honored to serve them.
