Using Database Lookup To Validate and Add Data to Your Data Set
Remark Office OMR has a Database Lookup feature that can: 1) verify that the recognized data from a region appears in an external database and 2) lookup by that data in the region and either replace the recognized data or append additional fields from an external database and insert it into your processed form data. For example if students fill in their ID numbers on the forms being processed with database lookup Remark can lookup that student ID in an external database and either replace the ID with the student name or append the student name to the data. It’s a great way to add data to your analysis without having to put it on the physical form.
