Disaster mitigation example
This video provides an example of how to set up management of a comprehensive response to a crisis. The example is based on information in the news about the current Corona virus outbreak.
The focus is not primarily on the emergency response but on coordinating efforts and tracking their progress.
The example is based on the idea that there is a lot of uncertainty in the process and responsibilities between actors are partly unclear.
By providing an overview it is possible to analyze and discuss how resources are used, who is responsible and what needs to be done. It is also important to know who is working on what to coordinate. Some initiatives in the example are short-term actions in response to events and other initiatives are planned in a more structured way.
