Can we imagine?
Can we imagine? A church with regional bodies that engage in conversation about collaborating, partnering, networking as they define their purpose and best way to live out a new identity.
Can we imagine a church whose regional bodies’ main focus on relationships for mission, leadership development, or administrated support as the glue that helps presbyteries be in covenantal community with one another.
Can we imagine a church whose regional bodies look beyond existing leaders and structures to serve as a holding environment as presbyteries figure out their futures.
Can we imagine a church whose regional bodies are prepared to engage in significant technical change for the sake of enabling adaptive change with broader borders.
To aspire to what God is calling us to do and to aspire to what God is calling us to be.

[Ariel] Hi. I’m Ariel Mink. I’m a ruling elder with the Presbytery of The Redwoods.
[Byron] I am Byron Wade. I am the teaching elder at Davies Street Presbyterian Church in Raleigh, North Carolina, and we are glad to present this video to you.
[Ariel] The reason why we’re filming this clip is that we want to give you an opportunity to hear the voices of the commissioners. One of the things we really want to impress is the way that we worked together as being a very transparent and open body.
[Byron] And one of the things that you’ll be hearing from the commissioners with these interviews is their heartfelt feelings about what we’ve been through with the process. It’s been a long and sometimes tedious process but it also been enjoyful from all the information that we have had and we hope that information will be helpful for you as you look forward to this report and the General Assembly.
