2014 County Courthouse Series

2014 Wyoming County Courthouse Tour

The Wyoming County Courthouse in northeastern Pennsylvania overlooks the town of Tunkhannock. While the original two story courthouse has been modified and with additions built onto it over the years, the original ornate and striking structure still exists and is in use today. See the ornate details of this beautiful building, and hear stories from Wyoming County’s past, such as the story of Frances Slocum, and the Wyoming Massacre. Of course, viewers will also get a walking tour of all of the unique features of the interior and exterior of the courthouse, and get a chance to look back through history, in this episode of “Pennsylvania’s Historic Courthouses.”
