Mayfly
Mayfly, by Samuel Gundry, is a short narrative driven 3D animation. The story follows the life of a Mayfly which has big dreams at a young age about the wonders of flying. His imagination is far from reality as he tragically realises flying isn't quite what he expected. With this being an individual project, my aim was to learn all aspects of the pipeline focusing on animation, expression, story and the visual aesthetic. My primary focus was to create interesting visuals with simple designs.
