For the project, Hellirinn, I was in charge of AI and gameplay programming, as well as multimodal user interface programming for the game. The AI programming involved creating the behaviours for all of the creatures found throughout the cave as well as the interactions between these creatures and the player. With gameplay programming, I worked on developing the player class that handled all interactions of the player in the game between creatures and the environment. In addition to this, I also worked on the final ‘boss’ sequence between the player and the giant bat. I also developed the different manner of user interface options, allowing the user to play the game using either the keyboard and mouse or an Xbox 360 controller.
