A group project by Leo Pettersson, Thomas Brown, George Hardcastle and Billy Copley. PBS was created with the aim of producing a visually pleasing, atmospheric and thought provoking piece that follows an abstract narrative, originally inspired by an illustration by Jason Holley. There are strong themes of life and death within the film, however there are many possible interpretations. The film follows the struggle of a group of snakes trapped inside a bottle. Their tense struggle causes the pressure to build to the point where the bottle begins to crack and finally shatters into thousands of pieces, allowing the snakes to break free. As they fall, they enter a double surfaced liquid that causes them to transform into new life, in the form of plants as they reach the other surface (representing new life and being reborn).
