Le Marquis, MA3D 12-13
In this brief animation piece by Anne Rufin, a ridiculously small nobleman in 18th century France is taken over by his greed for pastries. The scene begins with the protagonist being carried in by his butler on a pillow. After some contemplation he realizes he is hungry. Initially trying to maintain a cool exterior, the nobleman proceeds to throw himself at a platter of pastries which leads to his downfall. Ever haughty, the piece ends with the nobleman calling again for his butler by clapping his hands while lying off-screen on the floor.
