Pipeline Development for Winter Scenes and FX
The first is a set of tools created in a pipeline to take any object or up to 4 objects and cover them with snow, enabling quick creation of winter scenes. It includes a tool to provide a lighter polygonal mold of how the snow would look. The Volume generator is included with artist-friendly tools to allow for a wide array of customization in order to improve tool flexibility and usability. The second pipeline utilizes a paper on snow crystallization to create procedural snowflakes which are then mapped onto a particle system which behaves like falling snow to bring a higher level of realism to the snowfall effect.
