Director statement:

This film is an imagination of Gail Chester’s feeling when she knew the bad news from council. Gail Chester is one of the original founders of the feminist library. The idea behind the film comes from a real event happened on December 23rd, 2015. Southwark council asked for an immediate increase in rent. Therefore, the library launched a wide-scale campaign to fight the decision. I divided the film into two parts. The first part is about the imagination and the second part is based on the real things. This film combined the 2D animation into the reality environment of feminist library. I tried to use this way to record the last scenes of feminist library before it moves to a new place. The film aims to help feminist library to get some funds and causes more public’s attention and interest to it.
