VV Dockside Pack-out
Always exciting, moving without a skip, is the pack-out of a vessel docking at the seafood production dock of Viking Village. ( With additional footage at the Lighthouse Marina )
The following footage is of the 'North Atlantic Wild Scallop' and a montage of the the variety of fish that graces the dock before being shipped off to New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, etc. To ensure fresh fish consistently and daily, Viking Village houses two 22 ton ice machines for delivery to the boats. Ice for the unloading of product is taken care of by two separate ice machines which are capable of 11 tons / day. Incredible! That's a total of 66 tons of ice / day that VV can make. Viking Fresh!
